This large bell hanging above the entrance to the Choir Vestry is believed to date from the 13th century.
Scroll down to see the calligraphy of a former Rector, the Reverend Robert Cooper, which details the history of this and the other bells in the turret outside. They still chime every
quarter hour, driven by the Potts clock.
The Choir Vestry now also houses a modern composting toilet from Finland giving a whole new meaning to the phrase Chapel of Ease.
